• Role 1- Narrator/Interviewer: This person will be responsible for explaining what is happening throughout the process of making your own recycled paper. This can be done in the form of interviews with different members of your team, or by narrating what is happening.

  • Role 2- Tradesperson: This person is responsible for any cutting or gluing that needs to be done. (i.e. creating the paper mold using a picture frame, sieve, plastic sheet and tacks.)

  • Role 3- Engineer: This person is responsible for ensuring that the paper making mold is solid and sized appropriately. The engineer will also experiment with the mold to ensure that it has been assembled properly, suggesting any necessary changes to the rest of the group. However, the engineer needs to be able to listen to suggestions from the rest of the group.
    • due to the fact that this activity requires a large amount of paper to be teared into small pieces, more than one group member should help with this process

  • Role 4- Camera person: This person will be responsible for filming/documenting the development of this paper making activity. The camera person will only film when something important is happening (e.g. when the group is putting the model together, or when the group is discussing something important, etc.).

While each group member has a different role, it is important that every group member helps with the creation and development of the water recycling model when they are not busy with their own role. For example, when the camera person is not filming, they should be helping everyone else work on the water recycling model.
